Fourth generation Apple iPad has quad core PowerVR SGX 554 GPU
Fourth-generation Apple iPad has quad-core PowerVR SGX 554 GPU, Apple has touted the fourth-generation Apple iPad as being twice as fast as the previous model. At the heart of that claim is the A6X chip which is 30% larger than the A6 inside the Apple iPhone 5. To illustrate the difference, the GFlops score for the newer iPad at 300MHz doubled to 76.8 the 38.4 scored by the third-generation model. GFlops is a unit of computing capacity representing 1 billion floating point operations per second.
So what did Apple do with that extra space it added to the A6? It went to an extra graphics processing core of which there are now 4 on the chip, up from the 3 on the A6. While the CPU size remains the same on the two, the GPU cores are larger on the A6X. Not only that, but when looked at through a microscope, the 4 GPU cores are divided into 9 sub-cores, two sets of 4 and 1 central sub-core.
One analyst says this could be done for better parallel processing, or for a faster clock speed. Either way, he says that graphic speed will be blazing on the fourth-generation iPad thanks to the PowerVR SGX 554 GPU in the A6X. The chip also has double the SDRAM interface of the A6. All together, it sounds like Apple has really beefed up its full-sized tablet in time for the holiday shopping season.

According to a new rumor Note 4 of Samsung gets the same fingerprint scanner Synaptics as the Galaxy S5 and Alpha. However, the fingerprint scanner Note 4 gets some other tricks we have not seen before.
We have the fingerprint scanner of the Galaxy S5 tested so we can tell you already about the Note 4 The identification process listens reasonable closely. You must slide finger over it and you do it too fast or at an angle then you can again. There is some getting needed but it works.
In addition to providing access, the Note 4 presumably with Private Mode and payments with your fingerprint. What is new is that you can assign to specific fingers. Shortcuts to apps So you open with your thumb and your forefinger Twitter as Facebook. Samsung also would like to fill out web forms with your finger for you. Previously entered credentials are saved and you do not again later to fill in manually, but by sweeping the home button automatically filled in for you. Samsung announced the successor to the Note 3 during an Unpacked event on September 3rd in Berlin

Project Ara Google has created a revolutionary battery that offers the same capacity in a smaller size!
Dates back to last month’s announcement Google about the creation of the first Project Ara created by the team SolidEnergy that will be commercially available later this year . The company, however, has made a strategic decision to sell, choosing a small market to launch an experimental project; so when this new device will be offered only in Puerto Rico.
The Project Ara is a project based on the creation of a Smartphone modular, the Spiral 2, with hardware divided into various replaceable panels that can be freely activated at will by the user. Now you ask, but the battery? That capacity may have? After a small module can only contain many cells; seems to be the opposite, because the device will offer the same capacity of the other batteries but in a smaller space, will be smaller than the 20% or 30%.
SolidEnergy, the start-up founded in 2012, until now has been working to try to improve the performance of the battery; we now know that Google, with the Project Ara was able to develop a super thin metal anode with twice the energy density of graphite and silico-anodes currently used on other batteries; this allows the same to appear without anodes, thus being able to reduce the batteries physical half the size.
SolidEnergy claims that will be ready to market the revolutionary battery created by the Project Ara in 2016 and will also try to sell its product to other major manufacturers; we also know that in 2017 SolidEnergy will try to extend their solutions for the electric car market.

Apple has huge factory possibly for making iPhone displays
All we know is that the building will be making “new” and “critical” components for future Apple devices. But we do have some information that can give us a pretty detailed guess as to what these components will be: iPhone displays.
It’s been rumored that Apple plans to make sapphire-crystal displays for future iPhone models. According to leaked documents from analyst Matt Margolis, it’s evident that Apple has purchased Sapphire display inspection tools in a partnership with GT Advanced technologies. This new information, coupled with previous rumors, means that it is safe to say Apple is planning on using the facility for the production of new iPhone displays.
Also, a recent SEC filing indicates that nearly all of GT Advanced’s recent work is exclusively done with Apple. This rules out the possibility for GT Advanced providing Sapphire-Crystal technology displays to any other tech company.
GT Advanced also purchased multiple Sapphire-Crystal furnaces and chambers, 518 of them to be exact, and an expected 420 additional units have already been ordered. With the initial 518 in the factory now, Apple can produce anywhere from 103-116 million displays a year. With the extra 420 machines, they could be producing well over 200 million.
The benefits of Sapphire-crystal displays are improved strength and scratch-resistance. Something that would be a significant selling point for Apple’s next iPhone, seeing as their screens are ranked as some of the most fragile in the business.
