‘Samsung uses its own camera module for Galaxy S6′ – NU nl
Reported that at least the South Korean ETnews according to industry sources.
Samsung camera modules normally used by Sony for its flagships. The Galaxy S5 had a 16 megapixel camera from Sony.
According to rumors, the Galaxy S6 is equipped with a 20 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization. The latter means that the lens is held stationary while shooting a picture, producing sharper images.
The South Korean company reportedly works for a year at a private camera module with 20 megapixels.
Samsung develops and produces many hardware, memory modules to processors. The Galaxy S6 would of Samsung Exynos chip with a octacore processor are provided, instead of the 810 Snapdragon chip from Qualcomm.
The Snapdragon 810 chip would suffer from overheating problems, although some manufacturers contradict it.
